About the Librarian

Mrs. Turner

Welcome to the Annie Burnside School Library!

My name is Mrs. Turner.  I have been the librarian at Burnside for the past 13 years.  In addition to being a librarian, I have taught first and second grade. I have certifications in library media, elementary, and early education.  

I have been married to my wonderful husband for the past thirty-three years.  We have three children Will, Katie, and Amelia.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading (of course!),  cheering on the Gamecocks, and watching sappy movies on the Hallmark Channel.  

My goal this year is for every student to find that special book that will make them a reader.
