Megan is putting the final touch on her report for her submission to this year’s science fair. Her real rocket scientist, aunt, Aurora, leads Megan and her partner through each step of the scientific method. From formulating the question and hypothesis, through test design and variable control to recording and visually reporting results students are given the opportunity to understand, identify, and order the steps of the scientific method. Memory aids like a memorable rhyme and animating icons make abstract concepts more concrete.

Luckily, the Narrator is around to tell Jack about the scientific method and steps involved in doing a science fair project, including coming up with a purpose for your experiment, forming a hypothesis, considering variables, listing the materials and procedure, conducting the experiment, interpreting the results, stating a conclusion and making a display board.
